My journaling creates a boarder around the hand made flowers. I really wanted a page that allowed me to journal A LOT about my daugther's love of flowers but I didn't want it to be the center of the page. I like this idea b/c I can sit down and read the journaling if I like, but if someone else is looking at the scrap page they won't feel the need to sit down and read the text. This is all important information to me, but not everyone else wants to read it! I like the combo of the flowers b/c it does detract from the text and gives the page another visual attribute.
